Preparing charts for an evening clinic

What to print, crop, and mark before you take a seat at an Elliott wave annotation clinic in Hong Kong.

Arrive with paper. Screens are welcome as a second view, but our facilitators mark on prints so the whole table can lean in.

Print one daily and one four-hour window of the same instrument. Crop so the last completed impulse or correction fills most of the page. Lightly pencil a first-pass count at home — we will challenge it, and that challenge is the lesson.

Leave room in the right margin for alternate paths. Bring a fine pen in a second colour. Do not pre-draw Fibonacci grids unless the session brief asks for them; grids often bias the first hour of discussion.

If you trade Asia hours, note the session open on the print. Context for overnight gaps belongs on the sheet, not only in your head.
